At The Brimfield Antique Show

by Bill Dusty

On Saturday, July 12, 2008, I stopped by the Brimfield Antique Show. The July edition of the Show ran from Wednesday, July 8th, through Sunday, July 13th. The first Show of 2008 was back in May (13th through 18th), and there will be a third and final Show for 2008 going from September 2nd through the 7th.

If you’ve never been to a Brimfield Antique Show before, here are some helpful tips from the Show’s website.

I would imagine an increse in prices this year due to the increased cost of Fuel. These guys come from all over the Country. I wonder if they still have the same number of Vendors because of it. Better Drill here soon because it will only get worse!

I was kind of amazed at the huge crowds at Brimfield in May. The crowds were smaller in July as usual, but still respectable. I have concluded that customers may go to fewer shows because of gas expenses, but the one they won’t skip is Brimfield. There is nothing like it in the world! I have set up in the same spot for 20 years and may continue until I die. Please check out my website at http://www.AntiquesNut.com and while your’e there get a free ad!! See you in September. JOE
