Just in time for you Zipcar enthusuasts, Toyota has introduced “pocket car” design called the iQ at a recent car show in Geneva, Switzerland. According to an article from DVICE, not much is yet known about the car other than that it will feature a low-emission engine (naturally) and under-the-seat fuel tank (talk about a hot seat). Also, it will be able to seat three adults (so two couples going out for a night on the town are out of luck). The car is expected to have some competition from Mercedes’ own “micro car”, called the Smart Fortwo (which is actually even smaller that the iQ, holding a mere two folks).

The iQ is predicted to begin production in late 2008. More stock photos of the car can be seen here.
