Candidates to Appear at Forum on August 24

The McKnight Neighborhood Council & Youth Council are sponsoring a candidates forum at American International College’s Karen Sprague Cultural Arts Center on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

Five Democratic candidates for the office of Hampden County District Attorney, along with one Independent candidate, will be in attendance.

The candidates include: Democrats Stephen J. Buoniconti (West Springfield), James R. Goodhines (Longmeadow), Michael T. Kogut (Springfield), Stephen E. Spelman (East Longmeadow), Brett Vottero (Wilbraham), and Independent candidate Mark Mastroianni (Westfield).

The Democratic candidates will be facing off in a September 14th Primary Election, with the winner going up against Mastroianni in the general election this November.
