Benazir Bhutto is dead. Radicals bent on slavery and filled with hate have killed her. The scourge of militant Islam has once again scarred our civilization, this time striking down a brave woman who dared to promise democracy and freedom. It matters not who planned her death – opposition radicals, ruling party loyalists, or Al Qaeda. It does not matter. They all suffer from the same disease: hatred born out of religion.
Bhutto was felled by an assassin’s bullets, just moments before the assassin himself – coward that he was – blew himself up so that he could kill many more innocents around him. And that is the sickness that humanity in this day and age is faced with: We must combat a hideous enemy who kills innocent people by the thousands while hiding behind a religion that we, simultaneously, are told we must have respect for. Yet the followers of that religion refuse to stand up to these killers and shout out loud for the rest of the world to hear that these murderers do not represent Islam.
Religion of peace, my ass.
Where are the massive Muslim protests, around the world, against such savagery? Where are the Muslim clerics preaching peace and tolerance? Let us all hear your sermons against the killing of innocents. Let us hear you rally your followers to not kill and butcher in the name of Islam. Let us hear you defy the loudest voices of your religion – the ones who massacre people without regard to who they kill or how, and who cry out, “Death!” to any and all who do not obey them. Come out of your mosques. Stop hiding. Your collective silence is a nod to the authority of those terrorists and murderers who victimize the entire world with their hatred. Enough of imprisoning school teachers because of teddy bears. Enough of burning down entire cities because of a cartoon. The rest of the world sick of your barbarity.
Benazir Bhutto is dead. She was killed by those who hate liberty. And the world has been robbed of courageous human being.

Terrible. And your right, where is the Muslim outrage? I can’t believe they aren’t actively trying to stop the radical sects of their religion. Their silence is deafening.
The world has lost an extraordinary woman. She was a beaming light in a dark world and must have overcome incredible odds to reach the position she held. May she rest in peace.
Springfield Republican, Sunday,Dec. 30:
Bhutto’s wealth is 4 Billion Dollars! How much of that is our “Aid” to them? Who get’d the money now?
Happy New Year! ((Congradulations with your teaching position for our Springfield Library! Good luck with the much needed Computer Program, I would like to discuss it further in your Blog)
But what about Condi’s role in pushing Bhutto to go back?
