Springfield’s Community Complaint Review Board Doomed from the Start

jordan-CCRB When Mayor Domenic Sarno announced a proposal on Monday to create a new civilian commission to review complaints against the Springfield Police Department – one with more authority than the current, largely ineffective Community Complaint Review Board (CCRB), many of the Mayor’s critics must have shaken their heads in disbelief at the irony of it all.
