Springfield 4th of July Fireworks

by Bill Dusty

It rained on the celebration all the way up the last minute, but the fireworks on Memorial Bridge in Springfield, MA, went off as planned at 9:30pm.

Below is a video of the event, as reported by my buddy, Lisa, who unexpectedly inserted her own personal opinion of the show’s grand finale at the end of the video. As for myself, I thought it was a fine display.

An extended, non-narrated version of the display is available HERE

The spfld fireworks sucked. would have rather had lisa flash for five minutes. Would have been more exciting. Oh well, there is next year.

I first of all noticed last night our Fireworks sucked. But I noticed more gang, and crime activity.

There was a stabbing last night. Both news media have video. It happened in the North End.

The city should of cancelled them to tonight when the weather would also better for families. The city was dead last night.
