Springfield held its annual “Parade of the Big Balloons” on Friday, November 23rd, 2007. The weather was fair, with clear skies and a bearable chill in the air. The parade path began just before Lyman Street and ran up to Locust Street in the South End. In addition to the parade, Tower Square also hosted a visit by Santa , the Tanglewood Marionettes, plus music, magic, and the Festival of Trees. Below are some selected photos of the parade, followed by a brief video.

Bill great photos and video. Watched the parade with our two children. A little cold but well worth the trip downtown. Judy Matt and everyone else involved did a great job.

RIGHT ON, BILL!! Kep up the good work.
Thanks guys. I only wish I could have snapped some pics & video of the Tower Square festivities – the place was packed with folks for the indoor events there. (They have a policy against taking photos/video indoors.)
Great job once again, Bill. Thanks for sending to us…
