Powell Unveils Campaign Commercial

Springfield City Council candidate Karen Powell unveiled a new campaign commercial yesterday in her bid to win a seat on the council this coming election day, November 6th (next Tuesday). Powell, a veteran community activist in the city who is championing such causes as better ordinance enforcement and changing the current trash fee service to a more fair “pay-as-you-throw” system, among other issues, is seeking political office for the first time.
