Springfield Announces Notification System

The City announced today on its website that a new city-wide instant notification system is now in operation. The system, called Connect-CTY, will automatically call city residents’ home phones in the event of an emergency “or other notification situation.”
Residents may add or update their contact information with their e-mail or cell phone numbers. More on the system, including a FAQ, can be found at the City of Springfield website.
