A Friday afternoon visit to the Eastern States Exposition. The crowd was pretty good for an afternoon workday. My only regret was not getting in a horse show for the video tour – there wasn’t one scheduled while I was there. Following are some selected photos (with more available at Flickr), and also a video.
The Craft Common is a part of the Storrowton tour.
The Avenue of the States
As I took this photo, a happy dalmatian was jumping on my chest. (The dog is seen in the video I took.) Paying little notice of him, I patted him on the head and went on my way – only to notice afterward that my black t-shirt was covered in light brown mud. Thanks puppy!

These are great photos of the Exposition. The horse pic is that of a draft horse, they are so pretty, I like the hair around the feet. And the pic of the John Deere tractors, driving through N Ga this past weekend, I passed a farm that had an old rusty, antique – looking Deere sitting in the front yard, like a monument – they are the best tractors. I love fairs! Surely you hopped on some rides, I like to watch the kids and hear them scream, the louder the better..:)
(adults do it too)
I’m a WS native currently living in Europe and I miss the Big E terribly! I know…it’s the same thing every year…but once it’s in your blood…….
Thanks for posting these wonderful pictures!
