“March Mingle” Comes to Springfield

The parent support group Parents of Longmeadow Advisory Council for Education (P.L.A.CE.) has just the thing to warm you up. The First Annual “March Mingle” Wine and Food Tasting event, hosted by P.L.A.C.E., will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009, at the Springfield Lodge of Elks.

Bring your friends and family out for a special night of food, drink and fun. In addition to the wine and food tasting, there will be music, raffles prizes and a silent auction, according to their Web site.

Prizes listed at the site include:

  • A weekend getaway: Three-bedroom penthouse in Boston, MA (parking included).
  • $250.00 gift certificate at Diamond Gold Connection, Hartford, CT.
  • $50 gift certificates to the Munich House Restaurant.
  • The “Ultimate Birthday Party” – Music by Jon O’Neill and face painting by Sharon Stelzer of Fantasy Faces Facepainting.
  • And many more prizes!

The evening begins at 6:30pm at the Elks Lodge #61, which is located at 440 Tiffany Street in Springfield. Ticket prices are $25 each, and can be purchased at Picasso’s Salon & Day Spa, on 90 Enfield Street in Enfield, CT, or you can call 1-860-253-0268.
