A Walk Along Mulberry Street

Mulberry Street, in Springfield, MA, is a beautiful little street that is best known as the inspiration for the Dr. Seuss story, “To Think I Saw it on Mulberry Street.”

The street is lined with picturesque houses, and borders the historic Springfield Cemetery. I took a stroll there the other day, snapping some photos and taking a little video. The video is below, followed by a selection of photos.

I would listen to my granfather about stories of sledding down Mulberry St and also racing his soap boxes back in the early 30′s. Nice video.
