While in Wilbraham the other day, I took a little time to snap a few photos of the Wilbraham & Monson Academy campus. According to their website, the Academy had a student body made up of 359 kids from twenty-one countries and thirteen states in 2007/2008. Grades six through twelve, plus one postgraduate year, attend the school. The Academy was created via merger of two schools over a century ago. From their website:
Wilbraham & Monson Academy (WMA) was established by the merger of two early-nineteenth-century academies: Monson Academy, founded in 1804, and Wesleyan (Wilbraham) Academy, founded in 1817. The two academies merged in 1971.
Wilbraham & Monson Academy will be hosting an Open House on Sunday, November 16, 2008. The Academy is located on Main Street and Faculty Street, in Wilbraham, MA. For more information on the Academy, check out their website, here.
